Example: Searching by Image

Let's say you want to search for images of clouds. Here's how to find some good images of clouds by using an Image Search.

1. Click on the appropriate Grade Level Tab. For this example we will use Elementary.

2. Type the word "cloud" in the Keyword box and click "Image." The Image Results page is displayed. This page shows 9 out of 139 images of clouds.



3. Choose any of these images to go to the website where that image is found. The site opens in a new window so that you can keep the netTrekker Image Results page available.

4. If your Image Search resulted in more than one page of search results, use the page number link or "next>" and "<previous" links at the top and bottom of the Image Results page to move from page to page.

5. If you are still not satisfied with these results, you can Grade Leap to receive more results. For this example we will click on "Middle School" directly above the images of clouds. This gives us 9 out of 378 results.
