Humanities Center Resources
The National Humanities Center is an independent institute for advanced study, producing a rich array of online resources in American history and literature for teacher professional development and classroom instruction. netTrekker has partnered with this institute to provide users with access to the NHC Toolbox Library, which includes historical documents, literary texts, works of art, discussion questions, and teaching strategies online. The library is sub-divided by time period and calls out specific themes that are central to the instruction of each era.
To find National Humanities Center resources
in a search result, look for the
in the list of content icons at the bottom of an individual search result. You
might also choose to open the Collections menu and click on the National Humanities
Center box.
You might also use the Advanced Search feature to find Teachers' Domain sites. Click on Advanced Search at the top of any page, then filter your search by "National Humanities Center" in the Multimedia box.
