Using the Sorting Menu

The Sorting feature in netTrekker SEARCH allows users to sort any Search Result according to a variety of criteria. Sorting a list of search results will not remove any results from your list but it will order them in a way which might make them more useful to you. You can sort a Search Result based on the following criteria:

• the name of the Educator / Evaluator who evaluated the resource
• the Readability level of the resource
• the Overall Rating of the site, as determined by the Educator / Evaluator
• the ranking of sites in that Search Result as recommended by student Voting
• the ranking of sites in that Search Result as recommended by teacher Voting
• the Title of the site

The Rating comes from the educator/evaluator of the netTrekker SEARCH resource, while each user has the ability to vote, or recommend, resources using the voting feature.

Example of Sorting Options:

At any point, you can reset your Search Result to its original order by choosing Reset.
