igottanT is a 21st century workspace for getting work done. Right. Now. igottanT provides a centralized workspace for students to use the information they find in netTrekker Search for completing reports, writing assignments, presentations and other projects. With igottanT, you can take notes, then organize those notes in outlines, document drafts, slideshows, or timelines. igottanT breaks the tasks of any research project into three parts - Research, Organize, Deliver. This Help document will provide information on how to use igottanT to manage all three of these tasks.
The core element of igottanT is the notecard. Once you have created a notecard, you have captured information that can be used a variety of ways. Gather all the information you need in the form of notecards. Each notecard is like an index card - you can add text, an image, an audio clip, or even a video clip to it.
You can create notecards in either of two places - within netTrekker Search or within the igottanT application. Cards created in either place are accessible in both applications.
Once you have created a project, you can access that project from My Portfolio. The My Project section is at the bottom of the My Portfolio page. It lists each project you have created. When you expand a project, each notecard for that project will be displayed. If you hover over a notecard, you'll see the title, description, and a thumbnail view of any media on that card. If you click on either the name of your project or any of your notecards, igottanT will open in a new window.

Once you have created notecards as a result of your research, you can organize your notes with one of three tools: document, slideshow, or timeline. Create a new assignment from the Organize toolbar, visible at the top, within any igottanT tool or from the Home page.
The Notecard Panel always remains accessible within each too, by clicking on the tab at the left of the screen, so you can easily use your project's notecards, or create and edit new ones. To ue a notecard in a tool, simply drag it from the Notecard panel and drop it onto the tool's work area.
Use the Deliver toolbar in the Document, Slideshow, and Timeline tools to email, download, print, or present your work in full screen mode. You can also print, download, and email all the notecards of your project. These options can be accessed from the "Notecards" tab of the Notecard carousel on the left of the screen.
