The National Humanities Center is an independent institute for advanced study, producing a rich array of online resources in American history and literature for teacher professional development and classroom instruction. netTrekker Search has partnered with this institute to provide users with access to the NHC Toolbox library, which includes historical documents, literary texts, works of art, discussion questions, and teaching strategies online. The library is subdivided by time period and calls out specific themes that are central to the instruction of each era.
